  • Lexington

    Lexington, SC is a suburban hub buzzing with life. Within 10 minutes of the lake, and 15-20 minutes to downtown Columbia, Lexington is a highly desirable location for many people. On the weekends, you can walk through downtown Lexington to grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant before attending a concert at the Ice House Amphitheater.     Lake Murray covers 50,000 acres and is operated by SCE&G. It’s approximately 200ft deep, and is best utilized for fishing and summer water sports. You’re sure to never get bored when owning a piece of the “jewel of South Carolina” !

  • Chapin

    Chapin, SC is often known as the capital of Lake Murray, so you can imagine all the lake activity that happens in this beautiful area! There are quite a few marinas and boat ramps. as well as Melvin Park and Dreher Island State Park, which spans 348 acres and has access to 12 miles of the Lake Murray shoreline.

  • Irmo

    Irmo, SC has many desirable features and is home to beautiful hiking and walking trails and parks, such as Saluda Shoals, Harbison State Forest, and Irmo Community Park. Irmo was recognized in 2018 as “One of the Safest Cities” in South Carolina and by Money Magazine in 2007 as the 12th “Most Affordable Place to Live in the Country.”

  • Columbia

    Columbia, SC is a vibrant location to live with it’s access to tons of local eateries, the SC state house, Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens, and the Columbia Museum of Art. Of course it is also the home of the USC Gamecocks! There are plenty of local parks to visit, a favorite being the Canal and Riverfront. Take a kayak out and float down the river, visit Soda City Market or EdVenture Museum with the kids. You won’t run out of things to do here!

  • Blythewood

    Blythewood is a growing suburb with a population around 4,800. With travel time around 15-20 minutes to Columbia, Blythewood offers residents another option to living away from the hustle and bustle of downtown life. For getting out in nature, Blythewood offers Blythewood Park and Doko Meadows. There are plenty of festivals to attend, such as the Tournament of Bands, Doko Film Festival, and the Big Red Barn Retreat Summer Jam!

  • West Columbia

    Just a hop, skip and jump across the bridge from downtown Columbia you will find West Columbia. Join other West Cola residents every Saturday morning and shop local vendors selling art, crafts, treats, and more! Carraway park at the Riverwalk offers a great outdoor experience, or you can take a stroll through the interactive art park. With close distance to downtown Columbia and within 15-20 minutes to Lexington, West Columbia makes a great option for many people choosing to live in Columbia.
